I am pretty diligent about scoping out titles and authors in the public domain who I feel have something great to share. Recently I noticed a "newly released into the public domain" author by the name of Jane D. Abbott. She is nearly invisible on the net except for a few comments (all good) about the books she wrote. Since I'm a big fan of Louisa May Alcott, Jane Abbott caught my attention because what she wrote reminds me a bit of Alcott. Those who know, tell me that the most lucrative public domain titles to record are those that are already well known and loved. I'm sure that is true, but I can't stop looking for those that have been nearly forgotten....see what you think.
